Al Green, 1975
Al Green is great! Definitely, no argument there. But why is this album on this list? Like, if Green couldn't put together a complete album worthy of this list, then tough shit, even though his singles are fantastic. But he can, and does!
He has an actual album from 1973 a few spots ahead (Call Me, #427), and another at #306 (I’m Still In Love With You), and those are perfectly logical. Anyway, another cause for debate (or no debate) about the inclusion of compilations on this list, but to me this album is taking the place of other great albums that may have been missed.
